Questions and answers

  • I am in Bli Bli (Sunshine Coast), near the castle.

  • I do. We can work out the best way for you to pay your invoice. Full payment is required by the time of your session.

  • Of course. Most clients do. Your gallery will be presented with all the best images (50+) fully edited. You can then upgrade in the gallery through the shop.

  • I have a fast turnaround time. With over 12 years running my business I have managed to become very efficient in editing. 48 hours for sessions Monday – Thursday. For Friday sessions, they will be delivered Monday or Tuesday.

  • I love it when the tones are neutral. No bright colours, no black or navy. I also have a client wardrobe that Mums take full advantage of (especially when pregnant because who wants to buy a dress at that stage of pregnancy and also post-partum). I have cute knits for the babies and few outfits for Dads and older children.

  • Anytime from 30 weeks till about 36 weeks. I have done them sooner and some days before the birth. Basically, when the bump is nice and round, before you get too big or sore and while you are still feeling good.

  • I like to do them within the first 3 weeks. Things happen and maybe bub needs longer in NICU, or you don’t feel so good. Which is all fine and we will wait for everyone to be ready. The best time to get newborn photos, will be the time you get them done.

  • Maternity and family sessions will be from 60 – 90 minutes. Newborn can be from an hour up to 2-3 hours. It will depend on how much the baby sleeps, settles and if you did the prep beforehand. Following the prep will help speed up the session for newborns. Family and maternity don’t go over time. Generally, the younger children will let us know when we are close to finishing up.

  • Of course, some packages allow extended family members to come along.

  • Not usually as the studio has been designed specifically for my needs to create the best photos for my clients. However, sometimes I will come to you. You will need to ensure you have good light and enough room for me to set up. It is very hard coming into someone’s home and taking good photos. So your home needs to be clean and tidy and a room with clean, bright light and not many distractions like dark or vibrant colours. Personally, I would rather come to the studio than clean my house for a photographer haha!

  • YES! I would really prefer for you to buy through my shop. I use quality, professional printers in Australia. You have spent so much money on getting the photos taken why cheapen the whole thing with a Kmart print that will not show off the colours of you in the best way. Plus most likely to fade over time, a quality print should never fade.
